1) Requests for academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications for the purpose of continuing education are submitted to the University of Sarajevo \u2013 Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2) THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a) Educational document confirming the acquired higher education qualification or another document substituting the original, from which it can be determined that the applicant has obtained the appropriate education and title or has commenced studies (in two copies)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
b) Curriculum and syllabus of the foreign higher education institution<\/p>\n\n\n\n
c) Diploma supplement with transcript of records or another document issued by the higher education institution showing the acquired learning outcomes (in two copies)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
d) Certified copy of the document confirming a change of name and\/or surname<\/p>\n\n\n\n
e) Certified copy of an identification document <\/p>\n\n\n\n
f) Applicant\u2019s consent for data verification and processing (in two copies, attached to these instructions)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
g) Curriculum vitae (including the applicant\u2019s address and phone number)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
h) Proof of payment of the procedure fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 For all documents listed above, except items d) and g), the applicant must provide a translation into one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Translations of documents under items a), b), and c) must be done by a certified court translator.

Notes:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Equivalency of passed exams in third cycle studies is carried out in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1) Transfer from a third cycle program at another higher education institution to the University of Sarajevo \u2013 Faculty of Medicine<\/p>\n\n\n\n - Students who have successfully completed part of their studies at other higher education institutions may submit a request for equivalency of passed courses and ECTS credits, provided that the level, learning outcomes, and competencies do not significantly differ from those of the corresponding courses at the University of Sarajevo \u2013 Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Required documentation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following documentation must be submitted along with the request for equivalency:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a) The original transcript of records, showing the grade for each passed course and the number of ECTS credits earned;<\/p>\n\n\n\n predmeta i broj ECTS studijskih bodova;<\/p>\n\n\n\n b) Documents that provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 The name of the faculty and the content of the course for which equivalency is being requested;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 The curriculum and syllabus that includes the passed courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2) Recognition of Previously Obtained Title \u2013 Doctor of Medicine<\/p>\n\n\n\n - Students who completed pre-Bologna studies for the title of Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sarajevo \u2013 Faculty of Medicine have the right to submit a request for equivalency of their professional title under the Bologna system, for the purpose of continuing third cycle studies at the University of Sarajevo \u2013 Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Required documentation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following documentation must be submitted along with the request for equivalency:<\/p>\n\n\n\n a) Original or certified copy of the Doctor of Medicine diploma, confirming the academic title or scientific\/professional designation, or the original or certified copy of the decision on the diploma nostrification, for which equivalency is being requested;<\/p>\n\n\n\n b) Original transcript of records from the completed study program, issued by the faculty, containing information on passed exams with grades, the official name and duration of the study program, and admission requirements;<\/p>\n\n\n\n c) Certified copy of the document confirming that the applicant has changed their name and\/or surname;<\/p>\n\n\n\n d) Proof of payment of the procedure fee in the amount of 400.00 BAM (payment instructions available)<\/p>\n\n\n\n (Decision of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, \u201cOfficial Gazette of Sarajevo Canton\u201d, No. 05\/18)<\/p>\n\n\n\n All requests should be submitted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n UNIVERZITET U SARAJEVU-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n FACULTY OF MEDICINE 71000 SARAJEVO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
