If the process of diploma nostrification\/equivalence is not finished by the submission deadline, candidates should submit notarised translation of documents&nbsp;<strong>(a court translation).<\/strong>&nbsp;The certificate of recognition is the prerequisite for the enrolment. The candidates will have to use their ID numbers (a code received after registration to eUNSA) in order to check the rank list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preliminary rank list<\/strong>&nbsp;of enrolled candidates will be announced latest by&nbsp;<strong>Monday, 08 July 2024<\/strong>&nbsp;on the Faculty Announcement Board (Main Faculty Building, \u010cekalu\u0161a 90, Sarajevo, B&amp;H) and eUNSA and the Faculty web site link&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mf.unsa.ba\/en\/\">www.mf.unsa.ba<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates who wish to&nbsp;<strong>file a complaint<\/strong>&nbsp;regarding the rank list can do so by&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, 10 July 2024 (until 15.30 CET).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All complaints should be submitted to the Faculty Protocol Office.&nbsp;<strong>Appeal Commission<\/strong>&nbsp;will commence reviewing the rank list on&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, 11 July 2023 at 9,00 CET<\/strong>, when all candidates who appealed, should be&nbsp;<strong>present in person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Final rank list<\/strong>&nbsp;of admitted candidates will be announced on&nbsp;<strong>Friday, 12 July 2024<\/strong>&nbsp;on the Faculty Announcement Board (Main Faculty Building, \u010cekalu\u0161a 90, Sarajevo, B&amp;H) and eUNSA and the Faculty web site link&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/mf.unsa.ba\/en\/\">www.mf.unsa.ba<\/a>. ID numbers (a code received after registration to eUNSA) will be used instead of names and personal data in the Final rank list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All candidates who have deemed the right of admission (conditional or unconditional offer of admission) are obliged to submit the original documents for the enrolment or in case of conditional admission to confirm the admission offer (if the verification of secondary\/high school documents has not been finished by the Cantonal Ministry of Education). Otherwise, the application would be considered as withdrawn.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second Call for Applications<\/strong>&nbsp;will be announced if the sufficient number of candidates do not satisfy entrance criteria, in the period&nbsp;<strong>from 26 August to 06 September 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ranking of candidates will be based on criteria defined by the UNSA Decision for academic year 2024\/2025 (link:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unsa.ba\/novosti\/konkurs-za-upis-studenata-na-univerzitet-u-sarajevu-u-akademskoj-20242025-godini\">Konkurs za upis studenata na Univerzitet u Sarajevu u akademskoj 2024\/2025. godini | Univerzitet u Sarajevu (unsa.ba)<\/a>, as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Secondary\/high school achievement (overall average over the all four years of the secondary\/high school education)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achievements in following subjects (subjects relevant for the study programme): Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achievements in secondary\/high school competitions (awards, prizes, etc.) \u00a0in following subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates with overall average grade 5.00, or equivalent award for candidates who finished secondary\/high school education abroad and exemplary record of conduct,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State graduation exam results (for international programs),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other ranking criteria as defined by the UNSA Decision,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interview with candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>\/1\/ scoring of overall secondary school achievement will be calculated according the following formula: the average grade of all subjects for all four years of secondary\/high school education is rounded to two decimal places and multiplied by 4.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum points: 20<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/2\/ scoring of achievements in subjects relevant for the study programme (Biology, Physics Chemistry, and English language) will be calculated according the following formula: the average grade in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English language (throughout the four years of secondary\/high school education) is rounded to two decimal places and multiplied by 8.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum points: 40<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/3\/ scoring of achievements in secondary school competitions (awards, prizes, etc.) in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English language: students with these prizes will be awarded as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for local level competitions (e.g. municipal, city level) 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 2 points, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 1 point, 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;place \u2013 0,5 points;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for cantonal level competitions &nbsp;(regional level within the country)1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 3 points, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 2 points, 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;place \u2013 1 point;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for entity\/state level competitions (state, county, province level) 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 4 points, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 3 points, 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;place \u2013 2 points;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for international level competitions 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 5 points, 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;place&nbsp; &#8211; 4 points, 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;place \u2013 3 points.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For candidates who finished secondary\/high school education abroad, the Admission Commission will&nbsp; express scores as points based on which they are ranked in the home country (in the school they have completed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/4\/ scoring candidates with overall average grade 5.00 and exemplary record of conduct, or equivalent award for candidates who finished secondary\/high school education abroad: students with special prizes will be awarded 5 points. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/5\/ candidates who finished a four-year secondary\/high school in accordance to international programs approved by the resource Ministry and who passed (international) state graduation exam will be awarded with additional points for each subject relevant for the study program (Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English language), as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grade A* or A \u2013 3 points,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grade B \u2013 2 points, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grade C \u2013 1 point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates with English language grades A*, A, B and C are not obliged to take an additional language proficiency test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/6\/ The forecast grades will be scored in case of realising a state graduation exam results during the August or September. The candidates are obliged to submit a final certificate and\/or state graduation exam diploma prior to the beginning of the study year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Equivalence of the IB program grades will be in accordance with the Decision of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\/7\/ The Admission Commission will conduct structured interviews with candidates. Structured interviews will cover four areas for evaluation of candidates: English Language level, Communication Skills, Motivation and General Impression. Each area will be scored on a 10 point scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minimum points for each area of the interview: 6 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum overall points: 40<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews will be organized online or in person.
