Enrollment in the first year of the Integrated Medical Studies Program is conducted based on the University of Sarajevo’s Call for Applications for admission to the first year of studies for the current academic year.

Interested candidates must take an entrance exam, which is eliminatory. The exam consists of a test in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
A candidate passes the entrance exam if they achieve at least 50% of the total points, and no less than 40% in any individual subject. Otherwise, the candidate is considered not to have passed.
Scoring and ranking of candidates are conducted based on the Decision of the University of Sarajevo regarding the criteria and measures for determining the order of admission to the first year of studies for the current academic year.
Candidate data for those who completed secondary school in Canton Sarajevo will be automatically linked with the EMIS system during registration. Candidates who completed secondary school through international programs in Canton Sarajevo are required to scan and upload documents that are not available in the EMIS system.

If candidates have completed secondary school through international programs approved by the competent ministry, and the results of external knowledge assessment are published in August or September, the candidate must submit forecast grades provided by subject teachers, with the obligation to submit the certificate and/or diploma before the beginning of the academic year. Foreign nationals: Proof of proficiency in the Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian language is required, except for foreign nationals from countries that emerged after the breakup of the former Yugoslavia.
The Preliminary Ranking List and the Final Ranking List of candidates (under the code received during registration, without disclosing personal data) will be published through the eUNSA information system.
Candidates who wish to appeal the scoring of their test may submit a written complaint exclusively through the Faculty Protocol, during the officially announced working hours of the Commission. The complaint must clearly state the specific reason for the appeal. After the publication of the Preliminary Ranking List, candidates who have submitted an appeal must be present in person (with a duplicate of their completed test).
