The teaching conducted at the Department of Histology and Embryology enables students to understand the histological organization of the human body and the development of the human organism through various stages of embryonic and fetal growth. In addition, the academic staff of the Department is engaged in scientific research, studying microscopic structures of the human body, including tissues and organs, as well as the processes that lead to the development of the human organism from conception to birth.
