Erasmus+ Programme

The Erasmus+ programme provides teaching and administrative staff with opportunities for professional development, project implementation, and the establishment of cooperation networks among higher education institutions in EU member states.

Financial Support

The Erasmus+ programme provides financial support in the form of a scholarship that covers daily and travel expenses. The scholarship is paid by the host institution abroad. The amount of the scholarship varies depending on the host country.

Teaching staff and Administrative (non-teaching) staff of the Faculty of Medicine

How to Apply

Teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine may apply through open calls for international mobility published on the websites of the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Sarajevo.

Available Mobility Types

Teaching-  academic exchange for the purpose of delivering lectures at a host institution. This type of mobility must take place during the teaching period at the host institution.

Treaning- academic exchange for the purpose of training or professional development at a host institution.

Available Mobility For Administrative Staff

Training Mobility only

Teaching and administrative staff of the Faculty of Medicine applications are submitted online, along with the required documentation, in accordance with the instructions provided in the call. Candidates are selected based on the eligibility criteria of the host institution.

Duration of Mobility

Mobility for both teaching and administrative staff lasts 7 days, including 5 working days i and 2 travel days..

Selection Criteria

1. Application completeness
   Properly and fully completed applications are given priority.
2. Previous mobility experience
   Preference is given to candidates applying for the first time or with fewer previous mobilities.

Upon Completion of Mobility

Upon return, teaching and administrative staff are required to submit a report on the mobility and the activities undertaken during the exchange.

CEEPUS Programme

CEEPUS CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a regional exchange programme for university professors and teaching staff from the following member countries: Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Mobility

• Teaching staff mobility must last a minimum of 10 days.

Scholarships

Within the CEEPUS programme, the scholarship amount is determined based on the economic standard of the host country. For Bosnia and Herzegovina, the monthly scholarship rates are:

• PhD students employed at universities and teaching staff: €485 485 EUR
