Based on the Regulations Governing Third-Cycle Studies at the University of Sarajevo and the Decisions of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo dated June 24, 2026, the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Medicine hereby informs the public of the scheduling of the doctoral dissertation defenses of candidates Dr. Ena Gogić and Dr. Džan Horozić.the scheduled doctoral dissertation defenses of the following candidates:

Dr. Ena Gogić will defend a doctoral dissertation entitled: “Therapeutic Outcomes of Functional Magnetic Stimulation and Interferential Current Therapy in Knee Osteoarthritis Patients With and Without Metabolic Syndrome”, to be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Small Amphitheatre of the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo (KCUS), Bolnička 25.

Dr. Džan Horozić will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled: “The Association Between Echocardiographically Assessed Early Systolic Lengthening and Postsystolic Shortening of the Left Ventricular Myocardium and the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients with Non-ST-Elevation Acute Coronary Syndrome”, to be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Small Amphitheatre of the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo (KCUS), Bolnička 25.
