Based on the Rules of Study for the Third Cycle at the University of Sarajevo and the Decisions of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo dated October 29, 2025, the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Medicine informs the public about the scheduled doctoral dissertation defenses ofthe scheduled doctoral dissertation defenses of the following candidates:

Mr. Sci. Dr. Šejla Šehović will defend her doctoral dissertation entitled: “Clinical Significance and Prognostic Role of Global Longitudinal Strain Rate Echocardiography, Diastolic Function, and Brain Natriuretic Peptide in Patients with Asymptomatic Severe Aortic Stenosis” on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 14:00 in the amphitheater “Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Sabovljev”, Faculty of Medicine, Čekaluša 90.

Dr. Ivan Keser will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled: “The Effect of Subcostal Transversus Abdominis Plane Block on Interleukin-6 Levels and Pain Intensity after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy” on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 14:00 in the amphitheater “Academician Seid Huković”, University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Medicine, 1st Floor, Čekaluša 90.
