QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITTEE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO – FACULTY OF MEDICINE
The Faculty Quality Assurance Committee is the body responsible for quality assurance and quality management at the Faculty level.
The Committee is responsible for:
Organizing, coordinating, and implementing quality assurance and improvement processes at the Faculty;
Coordinating with the University Quality Management Committee through the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Office;
Submitting an annual report on its work to the University Quality Management Committee, in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the UNSA Quality Management Committee;
Proposing projects in the field of quality assurance;
Organizing, coordinating, and implementing the process and analyzing data obtained through student evaluations of academic staff and the effectiveness of curriculum implementation;
Organizing analysis of study success, scientific research work, and identifying causes of poor or inefficient processes;
Developing quality indicators that monitor process trends at the Faculty, in accordance with higher education quality standards;
Preparing the Dean’s annual performance report in accordance with its competencies and performing other quality assurance-related tasks as assigned by the Dean.
The Faculty Quality Assurance Committee is required to operate in accordance with the Decision on Appointment, the Rulebook on the Quality Assurance and Management System at the University of Sarajevo, and the Committee's Rules of Procedure (No. 02-3-6241/25, dated 05.02.2025).
The Committee consists of 9 members: one representative of the administration, five representatives of academic staff, two student representatives, and one representative of administrative staff. The term of office for Committee members is four years, except for student representatives, whose term lasts one year.
The work of the Faculty Quality Assurance Committee is coordinated with the work of the University Quality Management Committee by the Vice Dean for Quality.
The Committee is appointed by the Dean based on prior approval from the Faculty Council. The current Faculty Quality Assurance Committee (Decision No. 01-4-NŠ-11323/24 dated 13.11.2024) was constituted on 25.12.2024 and consists of the following members:
